The name Ashitaka\u2019s Shrine<\/em> is inspired by the spirit of curiosity, respect for nature, and moral reflection found in classic Japanese storytelling. Much like the journeys portrayed in anime, particularly of Ashitaka, in the Ghibli movie \u201cPrincess Mononoke\u201d, this blog was born from persistence, passion, and a desire to understand how stories shape us across cultures and generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Journey Rooted in Curiosity and Culture<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This manga anime blog began as a personal exploration. In retrospect, this journey had started long ago. I began commenting about my favorite manga, anime, and the value of animation on the webpages of newsbeast.gr, tovima.gr. I had to patiently wait for the approval. And I had some joy with it. Till it came to me: it was with many limitations. 1) I wasn\u2019t the moderator. 2)I had to wait, and not always did I get the approval. 3)I couldn\u2019t attach any images or URL videos. I kept searching on the Internet, and I found in-depth, tailored anime blogs. \u201cLook at that. The moderator created this blog.\u201d In 2020, I created and customized my first blog: ashitakaxsan.tumblr.com<\/a>. <\/strong>And in the process to learn how to make this work. Manga and anime are not just entertainment; they are reflections of history, philosophy, mythology, and modern identity. Through reviews, essays, terminology breakdowns, and cultural commentary, Ashitaka\u2019s Shrine aims to bridge the gap between Japanese storytelling traditions and a global audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
